The Optimize Designer
This is KM Lee from Malaysia, and I'm the guy behind OptimizeTemplates.
It all started in 2012 when my Adsense minisites were slapped by the Google Panda update, and I lost my income overnight. I soon learned that the most bulletproof way to make a living online is by selling our own digital products, other people's products, and selling our services.
In 2013, I started doing freelance work on oDesk (now named Upwork), mainly helping clients to create their marketing funnels and membership sites using OptimizePress 1.0. I got my very first client simply because he was looking for someone to manage his OptimizePress website.
In just a year's time, I had worked with over 60 clients, and quickly positioned myself as one of the experts in the OptimizePress and membership fields. I've earned the Top Rated status in 2015, but then I quit freelancing because this wasn't something I would like to pursue further.
The First Template Set Was Designed In Early 2014
My very first template bundle was modeled after the membership layouts of OptimizePress 1.0, and the response I received was very promising. I had sold plus given away (as my affiliate bonus) hundreds of copies with this bundle alone. That's where I got my confidence from.
With no design background whatsoever, I've learned to create more varieties of marketing templates, and that's how the idea of this website started - with the goal to help the OptimizePress community take the hassle out of building their conversion-focused marketing websites.
In 2014, I participated in the contest for the OptimizePress marketplace launch and won the best design in landing page category. I've also been featured in OptimizePress blog (Vendor Spotlight) in 2015.
Fast-forward to today - I've designed hundreds of templates and sold tens of thousands of templates in the marketplace. Not only that, my templates have been made available in the templates library.
Over the years, I've invested plenty of time in building and perfecting my web design skills using OptimizePress. I strive to create high-quality templates that get results for the community as long as I can.
